As you may be aware, we were recently inspected by OFSTED. Since our last inspection in February 2007, the framework used to inspect childcare establishments has changed immensely, following the introduction of the Early Years Foundation Stage statutory framework (EYFS).  Using this new framework we have been awarded a ‘GOOD’ rating by OFSTED.

We are pleased to have achieved this assessment given the degree of change that has taken place in the inspection framework and would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff for their hard work and commitment to the children and parents at the setting.  We were particularly pleased with several positive comments identified by the inspector including:

• “Children are happy, settled and show delight when entering the setting”
• “The effectiveness of the settings engagement with parents and carers is very good”
• “Strong relationships have been formed between staff, children and their peers and interaction is excellent”.
