Nether Heyford Pre-school have managed to secure a pair of ‘money can’t buy’ VIP backstage tickets to one of this year’s X-Factor live shows (20/11 or 27/11), courtesy of the show’s sponsors – TalkTalk
Any money raised will help fund the running of the Nether Heyford Pre-school
We are conducting a ‘SEALED BIDS’ selection process and the lucky winner will be the person with the highest bid on Friday 11th November at 15:00. The envelopes will be opened at Pre-school and the winner will receive the following as VIP Guests:
- Priority entry for two persons to the studio – backstage!!
- VIP hospitality lounge entry
- Canapés & drinks included
- Reserved seating to the filming of the show
- Back to the VIP lounge for more drinks, canapés & a goodie bag each

AUTUMN 2011 Transition Sessions to the Bliss School
Nether Heyford Pre-school will be offering transition sessions in September – October 2011 for the children who are starting the reception class at Bliss Charity Primary School this autumn.
The aim of our transition sessions is to provide support and childcare for children whilst they are attending school part-time during the first term. The children attending afternoon session at Bliss can use the Pre-school during the mornings (Monday to Friday). For those attending morning sessions at Bliss, the Pre-school will be open during the afternoons on a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Children benefit by being able to get used to attending a full day’s schooling whilst spending part of their day in a familiar setting.
We arrange safe transfer between school and pre-school for your child so there’s no need to worry you simply drop your child at school or pre-school in the morning and collect them from pre-school or school in the afternoon depending on which school sessions your child is allocated.
All transition sessions must be booked in advance. Fees for the sessions are charged at our normal rate of £3.70 per hour and there is a nominal fee for the school transfers of 50p per day.
If your child does not currently attend our pre-school but you are interested in using this service in September – October 2011, please get in touch with us and we will add your child’s name to our ‘Transition sessions to the Bliss school’ list.

OPEN DAY – 28th June 2011
We are holding our Pre-school Open Day on Tuesday, 28 June 2011 and you are warmly welcome to come and join us. The Pre-school will be opening its doors from 10 am till 12 noon to all children, parents, guardians and carers. Please come along and experience the welcoming atmosphere of our sessions. Have some fun with lots of activities on offer for the children, including dressing up, arts and crafts, and outside play equipment. Meet the staff and ask as many questions as you like. An Open Day is an excellent opportunity to have a look round the setting, meet our staff and pre-school committee members, ask questions you may have, and for your children to play and make some new friends. There will be tea, coffee and cakes served for the grown ups too.
If you have any friends or relatives who might be thinking of registering their children at our pre-school please bring them along. We have some vacancies for an immediate start.
There’s no need to book, just turn up!
